 Undergraduate education in France takes 4 years, but if your French level is not sufficient, you can first study French then start undergraduate education in France.

France Undergraduate Application Process

  1. Choose the right university: At this stage, Edu&Edu will advise you on the most successful schools in the field you want to study.
  2. Analyze the requirements: Some French universities require standardized tests for both local and international students. You should find out if you are required to take a test such as the GMAT, LSAT or GRE.
  3. Obtain a "Demande d'admission préalable" : you can get it from the French consulates in your country.

Accommodation in France
On-Campus Dormitories & Residences:
 By far, this is the most preferred accommodation option by students. Students are offered single, double, 3-4 person room options and often morning and evening meals.

Private Dormitories & Residences: 
Usually located outside the university campus, and within walking distance or a short public transportation distance from the school campus. Students are offered a choice of single, double or shared rooms with more students. Some residences also offer studio-type rooms and en-suite rooms with private bathrooms. 

Student Houses:
Share a house with international students and enjoy the independence of a smaller space while building friendships with your roommates. 

Homestay Accommodation: 
Enjoy a warm welcome and home-cooked meals. It is a great option to discover the customs and culture of the country you will be staying in. Students usually stay in single rooms.

Every student who is not a citizen of the European Union must obtain a study visa and a residence permit to study in France.
