Study in the UK

Undergraduate education in the UK is usually 3 years long (except for programs such as medicine, dentistry and architecture). Undergraduate study usually starts at the end of September - beginning of October each year. Some schools also start in January - February as an exception.

Turkish students are required to attend a one-year Foundation program before they can study undergraduate education in the UK, in order to adapt to the education system and to complete the missing credits in their education, but students with a very high grade point average and English level or students who have obtained diplomas such as IB, A Level within their high school in Turkey can start directly from the first year. Some Foundation program schools require a minimum English level of IELTS 5.5 to participate in this program.Furthermore, some top universities and departments require certain  high scores, so A Level is required. 

In addition to Foundation and A Level, the documents required for university admissions are as follows:

UK Universities Application Process

University Selection:
Your education counselor will present you with  a list of the universities based on your resume and aspirations.


Applying: 
Documents are submitted to the university such as letter of intent, CV, Reference letter, Diploma, Language score, Bank letter, Passport.

English Level: 

If you do not meet the language score criteria of the school you are applying to, you will receive English language training at language schools in the UK or at the university you are applying to if it offers it.

Acceptance: 

You can receive two different types of acceptance from UK universities: direct acceptance and conditional acceptance. If you receive conditional acceptance, you can take language training first and then apply for your undergraduate program.

UK Student Visa: 

Your education counselor will help you prepare the right file to obtain your Tier-4 student visa, which is required to study at a UK university.

UK Universities Application Period and Dates:

Applications to UK universities are made through the UCAS system. The deadline for UCAS applications is January 15th. However, many British universities accept applications until mid-July, regardless of UCAS. Undergraduate programs in the UK have start periods in September and January. It is possible for some universities to have more start periods.
